THE MICROJET HAS LEFT THE BUILDING

You might recall that we posted a small note that the BD-5 was going the way of the dinosaur, and now we are sad to say, its time has come.  We sold our last kit last week and so the beloved BD-5 is now off the catalog.  Right now, we don't have any plans to bring it back in kit form or plans, though we might begin working on the latter.  It could be tough though, as all the templates are not in the computer. 

The BD-5 was good to us, and we will miss it.  So long....

Sorry to see her go. It really was a nice build, albeit a challenge to fly. I have an idea for an all depron wing design, that would eliminate the sheeted wing cores, simplify construction, and decrease weight and wing loading, making her more 'flight friendly' should you ever decide to give her another run.
