CENTER OF GRAVITY
We get a lot of people asking for the various Center of Gravities of our Quick Builds. So we are listing them here as well as in our FAQ section.
When you buy the kit, you get a CD that contains text files with this information in them, and sometimes its easy to overlook a text file as something you don't need to read. Frankly, we do it all the time. So here they are, in all their glory.
- The Center of Gravity for the Quick Build Eurofighter is 4 3/4" or 12 cm rear of the wing break.
- The Center of Gravity for the Quick Build F-16 is 3" (7-8cm) rear of the wing break.
- The Center of Gravity for the Quick Build F-22 is 3.25” rear of the wing break.
- The Center of Gravity for the Quick Build F-35 is 2 3/4" rear of the wing break.
- The Center of Gravity for the Quick Build Skyray is 8" (20cm) rear of the intakes.
- The Center of Gravity for the Quick Build Draken's is 0.5" (13mm) in front of wing break.
- The Center of Gravity for the Quick Build F-4 is 12cm to 12.5cm rear of the wing break.
- The Center of Gravity for the Quick Build F-15 is 23.75" from the tip of the nose rearward.
- The Center of Gravity for the Quick Build F-18E is 5.75" forward of the leading edge of the vertical stab.
- The Center of Gravity Location for the Quick Build MIG 29 is 3” rear of the wing break.
- The Center of Gravity for the Quick Build SU-37 is 4" rear of the trailing edge of the canards.
